The moment I knew...

(Image taken from google)

Yesterday, 11/11/2013 was probably one of the scariest moments in my life.
My boyfriend I were at a four way stop intersection.
It was our turn to go, but a Ford Escape decided to approach our car 50 mph on a 35 mph road.
The Ford Escape did not notice that there was a stop sign and almost got us killed.
Luckily, my boyfriend decided to step on the accelerator
really quickly and avoided a potentially bad accident.
I am really thankful that we are both alive right now and we still have each other.

1. Human error is very common
People should not put others life in risk when it comes to simple tasks like paying attention on the       traffic condition.Something as simple as running over a stop sign could have put people's life in danger.

2. Decision making
Even though I was not the person driving during that time, being able to make last minute decision is     very important. My boyfriend told me that when he realizes a car was approaching him, he did not         think but to accelerate right away. I know this sounds like simple by typing up here, but when you're     faced with an emergency, being able to make appropriate judgements right away will ensure your life    being saved.

Lesson 3
While we accept that humans make error, but a minimal error can cost people's lives. In order to prevent that, we must carry out our own responsibility. Even when we're faced with emergency, being able to make an appropriate judgement for action is also necessary.
